This section will give you a good idea of who I am and my capabilities. I’ll keep it as brief as possible, but I hope to walk you through my journey over the past 20 years or so. If you want more details, please reach out and I can elaborate in more detail on everything you see below.

Engineering
I started out my career in IT like many do—as an engineer. I specialized in Route/Switch, Voice, Servers, Datacenter, and Security. I worked with most of the main vendors, including Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, HPE, VMWare, and others. I also worked with a lot of smaller vendors and strived to become a well-rounded engineer. I spent most of my time on networking and voice solutions. Working with clients to build solutions that make sense for them is when I feel the most pride and fulfillment.

Management/Executive
As my engineering career continued, I had the opportunity to expand into management and executive roles. I started out managing project engineers and was responsible for ensuring successful delivery of all projects.

I helped build a managed services practice from the ground up to around $6M/year in revenue. I managed the entire operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC) for many years. I helped the unit grow, developed new services, and took on responsibility for the entire cloud practice.

I was later promoted through the executive ranks of that company and was responsible for delivery of all services across the board as well as the development of new ones.

Account Management
Starting in 2016, I moved into an account management role. I had realized that what I enjoyed most in my career was helping my clients put solutions in place that made sense for their business. I flourished in this role because it allowed me to focus on what I loved doing most. I was fortunate enough to also help in other areas of the business where I had experience.

Independent Consulting
This bring us to where we are now. In this next chapter of my career, I am an independent partner who will help you and your company find solutions that make sense for the business. I will help you understand what is possible with technologies and how products will work within your systems. I bring decades of experience and a vast network of partners to address your needs. Being an independent consultant means that I can put 100% of my efforts into helping my clients and partners in any way they need.
